From 4 December, every Sunday from 14h till 16h, come and enjoy a warming drink on the Orangery terrace every Sunday. After the tropical temperatures of the Plant Palace and an invigorating walk through the wintry domain, mulled wine, twinkling Christmas lights and a crackling wood fire will make your visit complete

The tavern of the Orangerie is open everyday untill 31 Oktober and offers a choice of sandwiches, drinks and ice cream.

You are welcome to picnic on the terraces of the Orangery but also at het 'Pachthof' near the Garden Shop where we provided tables and a vending machine. In the Garden Shop you can taste our unique Botanic Garden Coffee!

Did you know ?

The Orangery was built around 1818 to over-winter tender plants, like orange trees. Since 1959 it is used as a restaurant for the visitors of the Botanic Garden.
